Very loosely based on the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, this historical action film follows the King of Sparta as he leads his army into battle against the advancing Persians. With the Persian forces moving forward, the Spartan ruler and his soldiers face a defining confrontation rooted in one of antiquity’s most remembered military clashes.
