Sent from Seoul to a remote coastal village, a young policewoman tries to adjust to an isolated new post. There she becomes drawn into the life of a mysterious teenage girl living under abuse from her family, including her father and grandmother. As the officer takes the girl in to protect her, her quiet assignment becomes deeply entangled with the child’s troubled home life.
