A teenage boy becomes the target of Freddy Krueger, the deceased child murderer who haunts him through his dreams. But Freddy’s threat reaches beyond nightmares: he wants to possess the boy and use him to return his reign of terror to the real world. As sleep becomes dangerous and waking life offers no clear escape, the line between nightmare and reality begins to close in.
