A lifeguard learns of a dangerous anomaly off the coast of San Diego and realizes the threat could put the entire West Coast at risk. With little time and few conventional options, she gathers a group of unlikely heroes to help confront the danger. Together, they take on a desperate, high-risk mission to prevent total destruction.
