In a near-future Greece gripped by drought and a punishing heat wave, Ashraf, a solitary immigrant, is hired by a wealthy Frenchman to look after a luxurious seaside villa while its owners are away. As water grows scarce and the atmosphere turns tense, his isolation deepens. A routine identity check on a sun-baked road hints at the violence gathering around him.
