At the height of the frontier era, a train carrying supplies and medicine races through the Rocky Mountains toward the remote army post at Fort Humboldt, Nevada. Among those aboard is John Deakin, a prisoner being transported to face trial for murder. When passengers begin turning up dead one by one, the classified mission grows increasingly dangerous, and the mysterious Deakin may be the only person who can help uncover what is happening.
