At the American Ballet Academy in New York, 12 teenagers from different backgrounds arrive with the same goal: to make it as professional ballet dancers. As they train, compete and try to stand out, each student faces the pressure, stress and personal challenges that come with pushing for a place in the demanding world of dance.
