When children in the area begin to vanish, a rebellious teenager stuck under house arrest grows increasingly uneasy about what may be happening outside her own walls. With little freedom to investigate and few reasons for others to take her seriously, she starts to believe the disappearances may be tied to the Cucuy, a legendary boogeyman said to prey on children.
