During a stakeout, Judith Gray, a tough pregnant policewoman, follows her quarry into a toy warehouse and becomes trapped inside with him and an innocent delivery boy. As the night closes in, the building reveals a darker presence: its toys have been awakened to murderous life by a strange child of darkness, turning the warehouse into a deadly maze.
