On an isolated desert planet, a man searches the barren landscape for parts to repair his robotic companion. Along the way, he teams up with a young woman who is looking for an imaginary lake. Together with the robot head, they hike across the harsh terrain, following the hope of a mythical body of water that may be far beyond reach.
