In 1939, test pilot Daniel McCormick faces a painful wait after the woman he loves falls into a coma. Unable to endure watching her condition, he asks his best friend to make him the subject of a cryogenics experiment meant to freeze him for one year. Instead, Daniel awakens in 1992, decades out of time, and soon discovers that his body is beginning to age at an alarming rate.
