After young Victor’s beloved dog Sparky is suddenly killed by a car, the grieving boy turns to science to do what seems impossible. Using a powerful experiment, he brings his loyal pet back to life, but Sparky’s new bolt-necked appearance soon frightens the neighbors. As panic spreads, Victor must show them that Sparky is still the same good friend he has always been.
