Telekinetic teenager Tina Shepard accidentally releases Jason Voorhees from the watery prison that has held him beneath the surface. Once unchained from his grave, Jason returns to the surrounding area and begins another killing spree. As the danger spreads, Tina is forced to confront the horror she has set loose, and her unusual power may be the only thing capable of stopping him.
