In Moscow, Police Inspector Renko is assigned to a brutal triple homicide after three bodies are discovered in Gorky Park. As he tries to follow the evidence, his investigation is obstructed by his own superiors. Forced to work largely on his own, Renko digs deeper into the case and begins to uncover signs of a high-level international conspiracy reaching into the upper ranks of government.
