Recently released from juvenile detention after a brush with the law, Maria Ramirez returns to her gritty Bronx roots determined to rebuild her life. With little to rely on beyond her talent for street dance and a fierce need to prove herself, she looks for a way to channel her passion and finds a new outlet with a dance crew.
