Fed up with her marginal urban life and the demands of her deadbeat grown children, Juanita decides she needs a change. Leaving her family behind, she boards a Greyhound bus and heads for Paper Moon, Montana, looking for room to breathe and a fresh start. In a new place far from what has worn her down, she begins to reinvent herself and reconnect with her own sense of confidence.
