A celebrated author sets out on a cruise with a group of old friends, hoping to enjoy a change of pace and make peace with the troubled parts of her past. Along for the trip is her nephew, tasked with keeping the ladies organized, but he soon finds his own attention pulled toward a young literary agent as old wounds and new possibilities rise to the surface.
