Chicago web designer Kira unexpectedly inherits a wildlife reserve in South Africa, pulling her far from her familiar life and her accountant boyfriend, Brad. As she considers selling the property and returning home, head ranger Tom introduces her to the reserve on safari, hoping she will come to care for the land, the animals, and the life waiting for her there.
