With their partners serving in Afghanistan, a group of women on a military base try to cope with fear and uncertainty on the home front. When they form a choir, the unlikely singers begin to find friendship, laughter and strength in one another. Inspired by the global phenomenon of military wives choirs, their music soon draws attention beyond the base and becomes part of a wider movement.
