In Lake Eden, Minnesota, bakery owner Hannah Swensen and her sister discover the sheriff’s body, turning a local election into a murder investigation. Hannah promises her detective boyfriend she will stay out of it, but that becomes difficult when her sister’s husband, a candidate for sheriff, is accused and suspended. With a killer still loose, Hannah finds herself pulled back into the case.
