Ju-young, a young woman with a hearing impediment, begins investigating the inexplicable disappearance of her sister, who was last seen in her apartment. As she searches for answers, the place grows increasingly oppressive. Strange sounds seem to connect to what happened, and Ju-young starts to sense a malevolent presence closing in around her.
