During the Battle of Dunkirk, a band of soldiers is ordered to stay behind for a critical mission: rescue a scientist whose information could help change the course of World War II. Cut off in Nazi-held territory, the group must fight its way through danger and enemy forces to reach the scientist and complete an assignment that could affect the wider war.
