Helena has spent her entire life aboard a spaceship, alone on a deep space mission since her parents left after a malfunction made it impossible for all three to reach their destination. At 20, she meets another person for the first time when Alex, an isolated engineer, arrives to repair the oxygen supply. His presence disrupts the only world she has ever known, as Helena begins to realize that things may not be what they seem.
