In an affluent California town, a group of teenagers grows up with little parental guidance and too much freedom. Left to navigate adolescence on their own terms, they push against the limits around them through substance abuse, casual sex, and other forms of rebellion, exposing the uneasy gap between their privileged surroundings and their restless, unsteady lives.
