During World War II, a village girl learns she has inherited the curse of the Krasue, a demon that takes over her body after dark. Each night, her head detaches to hunt, spreading fear through the village as the creature searches for vengeance. As suspicion grows among the locals, her childhood friend Noi tries to protect her from their superstition and from a monstrous rival hunter seeking revenge.
