Aspiring filmmaker Mel Funn teams with his oddball friends Marty Eggs and Dom Bell to pitch a bold idea to a financially troubled studio: the first major silent feature film in forty years. To make the project viable, they set out to recruit big-name stars for appearances, while the studio’s creditors work against them and threaten to derail the production before it can get made.
