Carly, a local college student, begins a relationship with Abram, a young Amish man experiencing Rumspringa. What starts as an innocent courtship soon turns dangerous when Abram refuses to return to his community. Determined to keep Carly with him, he takes her captive and tries to build a disturbing version of Amish life where they can stay together forever.
