On another planet in the distant past, a young Gelfling sets out to find the missing shard of a magical crystal, the key to restoring order to his world. Standing in his way are the grotesque Skeksis, a powerful race intent on reaching the crystal first and using it for evil. As the quest unfolds, the fate of an entire world depends on whether the shard can be found in time.
