Elmer is a young elf who dreams of becoming a real boy. Determined to see life beyond the North Pole, he steals Santa’s sleigh and escapes into the real world, where he tries to pass as an ordinary child. There, Elmer meets a young girl in need of a heart transplant, and his wish to belong becomes tied to a world far different from the one he left behind.
