After serving three tours in Iraq, a Marine returns home carrying the belief that an unknown woman somehow helped him survive the war. Drawn by that conviction, he travels to Louisiana to find her, hoping to understand the connection he has held onto through combat and discover whether the person he sees as his good luck charm can have a place in his life beyond the battlefield.
