In WWII Poland, Antonina and Jan Zabinski, keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, face the Nazi invasion as their home and work are thrown into danger. As the conflict reaches the zoo, the couple risks everything to help save hundreds of people and animals, turning their roles as caretakers into a desperate effort to protect life under occupation.
