A singer-songwriter and her young daughter leave the bright lights of Music City behind, relocating from the big city to small-town Nolensville, Tennessee, in hopes of escaping a violent past. Welcomed by an elderly uncle, his church family, and the townsfolk, they try to build a safer life. But the danger she fled is not as far behind as she hoped.
