In a modern America where witches exist and witchcraft is against the law, a sheltered teenager is drawn into a dangerous act of resistance. As she helps two young witches evade law enforcement and make their way toward the southern border in search of asylum in Mexico, she is forced to confront her own fears, assumptions, and the prejudices she has grown up with.
