In Season 2, Acting Good returns to the fictional fly-in community of Grouse Lake First Nation in Northern Manitoba. After his attempt to make a life in Winnipeg goes badly, Paul heads home hoping to slide back into the community without making a scene. Instead, he finds himself back among his eccentric family and the familiar rhythms of Grouse Lake.
