In 1990s suburban Orlando, a Taiwanese family builds a new life in America while trying to find its place between cultures. At the center is a hip-hop-loving Asian kid coming of age with an immigrant father who embraces all things American and an immigrant mother who is often puzzled by the white culture around them. This single-camera comedy follows their everyday adjustments, clashes, and family bonds.
