Clark Thompson is a midlevel tech-support employee whose ordinary life takes a strange turn when he becomes the unwitting messenger of God. At the same time, he finds love with his co-worker Amily Luck, complicating an already overwhelming new role. As divine signs, rollerskating, a lake of fire and an impending apocalypse enter the picture, Clark has to face a calling he never asked for.
