In 1954 at Rydell High, before rock and roll rules the halls and before the T-Birds become the school’s coolest clique, four fed-up outcasts decide to have fun on their own terms. As a brainy misfit runs for student council president, her reputation takes a hit even as her popularity grows, helping spark a moral panic that begins to change the school forever.
