In this single-camera half-hour comedy, Maria Bamford plays a version of herself in a story based on what she has accepted to be her life. Moving across different periods in the actor and comedian’s experience, the sometimes surreal episodes follow a woman trying to make sense of herself after losing her footing, and slowly finding her way back.
