Al Bundy is a working-class, middle-aged shoe salesman whose life rarely goes the way he wants. At home, his wife Peggy expects more from him while avoiding much effort herself, and their children add to the chaos with their own problems and bad choices. Together, the Bundys stumble through the highs and lows of ordinary family life, shaped by frustration, dysfunction, and constant conflict.
