In 1970s Los Angeles, earnest feminist Joyce and low-rent publisher Doug continue building Minx, the first erotic magazine created for women. As the publication becomes an explosive success, the partnership that started it all is tested by the sudden rush of money, fame and opportunity, along with temptations neither of them is fully prepared to handle.
