In 1960s London, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier, begins building a new life after military service by forming his own security company. His work brings him into the orbit of young billionaire Thomas Wayne and Thomas’s wife, Martha, years before they become the parents of Bruce Wayne and before Alfred is known as the Wayne family’s legendary butler.
