Charlie Cale is a casino cocktail waitress with an uncanny ability to tell when someone is lying. After a close friend is murdered, she goes on the run in her Plymouth Barracuda, trying to stay ahead of a hitman sent after her. Along the way, each stop brings a new group of strangers and a strange crime Charlie cannot resist investigating.
