Best friends Jen and Mo are second-generation millennials, one Chinese-Canadian and the other Filipino-Canadian, trying to figure out adulthood in Toronto. When Mo’s parents move back to the Philippines, Jen sees a chance to leave home too, and the inseparable pair become roommates in a shabby city triplex as they set out to prove to their immigrant families, and to themselves, that they can make it on their own.
