A sheltered professor from London is drawn into an unfamiliar world when he learns that his wife has died in a mysterious car accident on the mountain roads of Tai Po. Traveling to Hong Kong in search of answers, he tries to understand what led to her death and begins to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
