In their final years at Rudge Park Comprehensive, suburban teenagers Will, Simon, Jay and Neil keep trying to make sense of school life and its social rules. The four friends chase popularity, attempt to impress the girls around them, and do their best to move with the cool crowd, but their awkward schemes and bad luck usually leave them firmly on the wrong side of the social divide.
