Deliveryman Doug Heffernan enjoys a comfortable life with his wife, Carrie, a big television, and a group of friends to watch it with. But the balance at home changes when Carrie’s newly widowed father, Arthur, moves in. With his basement no longer his own and Arthur’s odd, irritating habits under the same roof, Doug finds it harder to feel like the king of his domain.
